After all this time
making herself disappear,
she performed the miracle
of bringing herself back to life.
These are the words I’ve learned for myself, some the rock-bottom hard way, and the words I wrote down in a book I named, There, I Might Find Peace.
They’re the words of transformation from darkness to light, hurting to hope, and frozen to illuminated. They come from my own contemplative practice. These are the mantras I practice to soothe an aching heart and worried mind, the meditations that have brought peace to my soul, and the stories that tell my journey toward loving myself.
These words have helped me to feel more present and less lost. When I catch myself feeling flared up, I remind myself of what I wrote down and soften. I truly hope they will help you bring more light into your life.
There, I Might Find Peace is poetry meets meditation, fairy tale meets cosmic truth.
This is a collection of my sincere thoughts on lightness, trust, and the deep wisdom we each hold. It’s a book for people seeking truth, tenderness, and harmony from the inside out. It’s for the soul-searchers and light bearers who long to leave the world a little brighter than they found it. It’s for those of us looking for that place where grace and courage meet. It’s for opening your heart, reuniting with hope, and finding a light to hold on to.
It’s for you, for me, for us.
I had a truly inspiring team of readers give it a good read, and thanks to their encouragement and thoughtful feedback, the book is ready to put out there in what I hope will be a really big way. This grateful heart is absolutely bursting right now.
There, I Might Find Peace is available in ebook and paperback format on Amazon. Find out more here.
